Nehardea No. 15, Winter 2005-2006

BJHC

Updated: Oct 26, 2021

At the center of the issue is the Babylonian Jews in recent generations such as the Farhud, love letters from Basra, and the Passover as experienced in childhood. Further is written about Iraqi personalites in Israel and abroad, about amulets and more.

The entrance façade of the BJHC building is seen with a high and wide entrance gate adorned with a pointed arch. On either side of it on the second floor stands out a balcony made of wood, it is surrounded by pointed arches glazed with glass. Each balcony rests on four wooden supports and above it stands a wooden awning.
