Nehardea No. 21, Spring 2021

BJHC

Updated: Oct 1, 2024

The center of the issue marks the seventieth anniversary of Operation Ezra and Nehemiah, as well as brings the background stories of new exhibitions. An overview is given of the heritage sites of the Jews in Iraq, of the architecture of the only surviving synagogue in Baghdad, about events and conferences held in the center and more.

Three girls, wearing long skirts and shirts, are sitting in the doorway of a tent. On the other side of the doorway stands a young man. Everyone are looking at the camera and smiling.
